Uma app de medição de anéis é mesmo rigorosa?
Depende inteiramente da calibração. Um círculo de 17,3 mm são 313 píxeis num iPhone de 460 PPI e 222 num de 326 PPI, por isso uma app que assume uma densidade genérica pode falhar por vários tamanhos. Como meço o tamanho sem um medidor de anéis?
Enrole uma tira de papel que não estique à volta da base do dedo, marque a sobreposição e meça o comprimento marcado em milímetros. Esse é o perímetro interior, e 54,4 mm correspondem a um US 7. Evite fio, porque estica, e dois milímetros de esticão valem quase um tamanho inteiro.
Qual é o tamanho médio de anel?

Não. Os medidores para imprimir só funcionam a exatamente 100 % de escala, e os controladores de impressão aplicam frequentemente o ajuste à página sem avisar.
